As a mom & mental health professional, I struggled with finding engaging tools that helped little kids learn about feelings & manage them in a way that met them at their kid-level. I wanted something that captured their attention, engaged them & could help them build emotional wellness.
I wanted something they could use that just became a part of life. Something that kids would want to use & learn! Something I didn't have to piece together, a whole package deal.
It's based on my Masters education in Marriage Family Therapy & research in Attatchment Science and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
I combined that with my experience working with little kids in therapy, plus my own challenges as a parent with my big feelings little guy.
We are tired, worn out and need an "easier" button to help them (unfortunately there is no easy button, I've looked đŸ˜¬ ).
In the past, I've partnered with The Center for Connection (multi-disciplinary clinical practice founded by Tina Bryson, Psychotherapist & Co-Author of No-Drama Discipline & The Whole Brain Child) to help support parents learn strategies and tools to promote their child's healthy brain development, build emotional intelligence and help make parenting a little easier.
A fun activity book that helps little kids discover feelings, grow emotional awareness, and learn coping skills to manage big mads and find calm.
