What is the Heartland
Adventure?
An engaging group enrichment program that helps little kids ages 4-8 years
old build important emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills while having fun!
In the magical place called Heartland, little kids learn these EQ skills with the
help of delightful characters, engaging stories, creative activities, games,
and unlocking magical treasures (coping skills) that help them manage those
big emotional storms bringing you & them more peace of mind.
How does it work?
Each week little kids will journey together to
discover and learn new skills as they visit each
realm of Heartland. They will use the Heartland
Adventure Map to complete fun activities, games
& pick up magical treasures (coping skills) that
help reinforce what they have learned.
Each realm builds a different set of emotional
intelligence skills to help them build emotional
strength inviting more confidence in handling
those big emotional moments.
What They Learn
Bouncing through the Bunny
Meadows, little kids will learn how to
manage big feelings when they feel
overwhelming.

In Bunny Meadows they learn:
- Understanding the messages of
feelings, prevention/self-care, coping
skills to work through big feelings
- Bunny Meadows
With the help of our forest friends,
kids will complete adventures to
build emotional awareness in the
Feelings Forest.
- In the Feeelings Forest they learn:
Emotion recognition, develop
vocabulary for feelings, understand
what activates big feelings, and learn
about the physical connection to their
feelings

In the playful billows of Cloud
Town, little adventurers will learn
about emotional regulation, which
shows them how to calm their
overwhelmed bodies.
In Cloud Town they learn:
- Preventative strategies, coping skills
for big feelings, calming techniques,
mind-body connection, mindfulness

Relationships are important and our
friends in Friendship Falls help your
adventurers grow strong, caring
hearts, improving their relationships
and building friendship skills.
In Friendship Falls they learn:
- Empathy building, kindness,
communication, conflict resolution

I created Littles Bloom to help little kids grow
their emotional skills through the magic of play
and creativity.
Rooted in research and hands-on experience,
the Heartland program is designed to bring
emotional intelligence to life in a way kids
love and remember.
- With a Master’s degree in Marriage and
Family Therapy and my clinical experience
working with kids, parents, and families, I’ve
seen firsthand how little ones learn best when
they’re actively engaged and having fun

So I crafted Heartland to be a world of whimsical adventures,
friendly characters, and hands-on activities that turn learning into
play.
By blending my clinical experience with creative exploration, I created Littles
Bloom to help kids build lasting emotional tools for self-awareness, managing
big feelings, resilience, and empathy.
I’m excited to share this adventure with you and your littles!
When your little adventurer is enrolled in
the Heartland Adventure, you receive
parent resources every week.
After each session, you will receive a
resource page that explains what your
little adventurer has learned (skill), what
area of emotional intelligence we worked
through, and tips for how you can continue
to support their growth at home.
